A 2 day workshop in Adobe’s After Effects software,explaining how it works and what you can do with it, encouraging you to create your own animations and give movement to your imaginary ideas.Best suited for beginners who might have small or no experience before with video editing programs.

DAY ONE: Introduction to after effects workspace, basic editing and animation techniques, animating elements from photoshop files, exploring the boundaries of the software, emphasise on the specific needs of each participant. Book ticket for day one here.

Translating Audio into Images with After Effects
Level: intermediate

A three day workshop explaining how to synchronise the movement and parameters of graphics with audio. Graphics could be any kind, from computer generated ones till handmade scanned files passed through photoshop. Audio and images will combine into after effects get manipulated, synchronised and export as audio driven quicktime movies.

A usage of expressions (code) will take place too, for more advanced and specific synchronisation. Participants are encouraged to develop projects which will be presented at the end of the workshop.
